Faculty & Staff Research and Scholarship

The scholarly and creative work of faculty and staff is integral to the mission of Seattle University. From books to articles to other creative works, we are proud to celebrate the many achievements of our faculty and staff each year. The impact of this work is reflected in the classes offered, the initiative of our leaders, and the thoughtful programming available across campus.

What items are accepted?

Items in any tangible format (print, digital, etc.) produced within the current or most recent academic year are accepted. Acceptable items include but are not limited to journal or media articles, books, book chapters, case studies, conference papers or presentations, and digital scholarship projects, as well as creative works, such as novels, poetry, art exhibitions, and films.

How do I submit my work?

Submit items for inclusion by filling out the short scholarly activities submission form.

Books authored by Seattle University faculty and staff will be considered for purchase by the library in accordance with general collection criteria relevant to title format and availability. The library also welcomes donated copies of books authored by faculty or staff. If you would like to donate a copy of your book, please indicate this in the 'Additional Information' field of the submission form.

How will submitted items be made available?

Complete citations for all items will be available through this webpage. Links to access items online or through the library catalog will be included when available.
