Need-Based Financial Aid

Seattle University administers need-based funding to qualifying graduate students in the form of grants, loans, and work opportunities. Consult this summary of graduate student financial aid for an overview of potential options, and connect with Student Financial Services to work through the FAFSA application process and/or to locate paid part-time work.

Scholarships

Seattle University offers a limited number of grants and scholarships to graduate students. This summary of graduate student scholarships highlights awards relevant to multiple disciplines and provides links through which to research college-specific and school-specific opportunities. Conduct a more in-depth search for graduate student scholarships available to enrolled students by visiting the Seattle University Scholarships Opportunities Homepage.

Graduate Student Council Funding

Seattle University's Graduate Student Council supports graduate and professional student research initiatives and professional formation. Graduate students may apply for a Graduate Student Council Research and Conference Grant of up to $1,000 to help offset the costs of conference presentation, conference attendance, or scholarly research and professional development.

Graduate Student Council also provides monetary support to collaborative events and activities planned by and for Seattle University graduate students through academic and educational opportunity funding. Proposed programs should reflect a commitment to a cause or promote a sense of community at Seattle University.
