Seattle University Alumni are entitled to numerous continuing benefits from the Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons. Below you will find details of what library benefits are available to you. All visitors, including Alumni, to the Lemieux Library & McGoldrick Learning Commons must abide by our Library Access and User Expectations Policy. Please visit the Alumni Office web page to learn about other benefits, events, and professional development opportunities for SU alumni.
The library is going to be on "Swipe to Study" or card only access all hours of library operation Summer Quarter 2025. This means that the building doors are locked and only accessible with a valid SU Id. The library will still be accessible for Alumni over the summer during our normal service hours. Alumni can gain access to the building by coming to the library's 3rd floor west entrance (the entrance closest to Broadway) and calling the circulation desk at 206-296-6233. When you call, the staff on site will open the doors for you. Hours are reduced during the Summer Quarter, and we highly recommend checking them before coming on site. Summer hours can be found here: Lemieux Library Hours and Events - Lemieux Library
Any additional questions or concerns can be submitted via the Contact the Library Form or call the Access Services Circulation Desk at 206-296-6233.
