Univ of Wisconsin-Madison site supports interdisciplinary studies which address the causes and consequence of inequality and poverty in the US. It is one of the Area Poverty Research Centers along with Uof Mich, Uof Kentucky and the West Coast APRC's.

Columbia Univ. Site's purpose is to share publications, but it is also a source for data tools and news. Much of the information is localized to state information. Resources can be searched by topic, year or project. Contains basic fact sheets on low income children, homelessness, and children in the social welfare system

For grantseekers, current information on grantmakers and their grants. Database provides access to over 250,000 990s, 80,000 grants as well as news, requests for proposals, key staff affiliations, printable color charts illustrating grant distributions, and more.
