Finding research in Kinesiology and Health Sciences

Research in Kinesiology includes finding background information about the anatomy and physiology of the body, as well as research and evidence about the efficacy of movement and exercise.

The curriculum is rooted in Evidence-Based Practice, and therefore requires students are comfortable finding the published evidence though searching journal databases.

Key Resources

Key resources for Kinesiology students include Journal articles, Textbooks, and some selected websites from professional associations.

We also have a curated list from one of our Kinesiology graduates who wanted to share some lesser-known resources that can help with some of the Kinesiology classes in our undergraduate degree!
