OVERDUES

Overdue Items
The Library does not charge overdue fines.  As soon as an item is overdue your borrowing privileges will be suspended. Overdue items on a patron’s account prevent borrowing or renewing items until the overdue items are returned. The library does charge replacement fees for unreturned or damaged items.

Items 30 days overdue will be marked lost and the patron will be responsible for the replacement cost. If items are returned promptly in good condition, the replacement charges will be removed.

For long-delinquent items, after formal contact methods have been pursued, replacement charges will be reported to Student Accounts. Once the charges are reported to Student Accounts, the charges cannot be waived even if items are returned.

Students, please note: If you have not cleared your Library account by the time you graduate or withdraw, your diploma and/or transcripts will be held by the Registrar. Formal collection procedures also may be pursued.

Course Reserve Materials, AV Equipment & Laptops

Please return these items promptly. Borrowing privileges will be suspended the moment these items become overdue. These are high-demand items and must be made available for other patrons.

LOST + DAMAGED ITEMS

Replacement Charges
Replacement costs are due if library items are returned damaged or lost. In addition to replacement costs, a $10.00 processing fee will be assessed for each lost item. Regardless of whether payment has been made for an item, library items remain the property of the college and must be returned. Materials cannot be purchased from the Library.
