1st Floor Garden Room Updates: 3D / AR / VR and Data Science Tools

Hello Redhawks!

The Lemieux Library has recently updated our 24/7 Garden Reading Room and Computer Lab, located on the first floor of the Library, with 13 desktop computers tailor-set to support your various 3D Modelling, AR/VR, and data science needs.

All 13 PCs, 8 along the central bar top and 5 towers at the back of the room, are equipped with a suite of 3D Modelling, AR/VR, and data/programming tools to support your various needs, including:

  • Adobe Acrobat & Creative Suite
  • Anaconda/Python
  • Blender
  • GMetrix SMS
  • ITruss
  • Orange Data Mining
  • R & R Studio
  • SAS
  • SPSS
  • Unreal Engine 3D Tool
  • Unity Hub
  • And more…

Our set of five PCs, located at the back, are further bolstered with 1.5TB memory and 64GB RAM to support your most demanding massive cloud data and robust 3D/AR/VR project needs. Come swing by the 1st floor Garden Reading Room to check out the new set-ups just in time for Spring Quarter.
