Overview

The Student Resource Network (SRN) Program is envisioned to be a coordinated network of student-facing service points comprised of existing on-ground hubs, supported by a robust virtual hub and powered by Slate for Student Success.

While maintaining their own expertise, existing hubs will be enhanced by a shared service ethic and standards, coordinated training and onboarding, consolidated contacts and knowledge base, uniform data collection, crossover brand identity, and marketing.  The focus is on information access; and “any student, any question.”

Strategic Directions Alignment

The Student Resource Network directly aligns with, and supports, Reigniting our Strategic Directions priorities in Goals 2 and 3.  Regarding Goal 3, the following priorities are highlighted:

  • By offering support and services that create connections and nurture student persistence, we will promote student success.

  • We will create and provide meaningful events and memorable campus traditions that cultivate students’ sense of belonging and encourage a lifelong relationship with the university.

  • As we increase the access for services, support and programs and move further into hybrid and online education, we will find ways to bring Seattle University to students wherever they are.
