Only active Seattle University Students/Staff/Faculty are eligible to reserve and check out equipment. Students must be registered for the current academic quarter.
Borrowers must adhere to all Seattle University Information Technology Policies including Computer Acceptable Use Policy.
We lend Chromebooks for same-day use and for a quarter at a time. Our Chromebooks are all equipped with microphones and webcams, and compatible both with Teams and Zoom, making them great choices for students having trouble joining remote or hybrid classes from a desktop computer, or someone who needs a temporary laptop while theirs is out of order.
We also lend a limited number of Windows laptops, for students who need to run specific Windows-only applications for class or testing purposes.
Requests may be made for Chromebooks, Bridging Hotspots and iPad Drawing kits items through the Library catalog, Primo. Due to demand, items may not be available through walk-ins. Al and other technology listed is available for request and pickup at the Circulation Desk.

Software and program downloads for Chromebooks are only available at the Google Play Store. If you need software beyond that, please ask the Circulation Desk for options.
You will receive an email from the library when your request is ready. Pick up will be at the 3rd Floor Circulation Desk, and your SU ID card or a valid government-issued ID (driver's license, passport, etc.) is needed.
Multiple equipment items may be checked out, but only one of each type is allowed (one laptop, one hotspot, etc.).

Chromebooks: Log out by clicking the time at the bottom right, then clicking Sign Out. At the sign in screen, you can click the arrow next to the profile name and click Remove this user.
