Sign-in to your library account before you begin your search.
It is easier to request items if you are signed in first. The Library Account sign-in link is located under the search box on the library's homepage. In order to access online items off campus, users must be signed in to Primo. Learn more about your Library Account.
Course Reserves:
From the library's home page, select the "Course Reserve" link under the main search box. Then search by course name and number or instructor last name. For example: in the search box type "NURS" for all nursing courses, "NURS 5012" for the specific course, or "Beebe" for instructor.
Summit Requests:
Items that are available in Summit will appear when searching in any scope, including the main scope Books, Articles and More. On the advanced search screen, users can change the scope to Summit Libraries. A search in Summit Libraries will retrieve items available at Lemieux and Law (which are also available through Summit) and items in Summit that SU libraries do not have copies of.
Requests for books in Summit can be placed while working in Primo. Users must be signed in to their Primo account before Summit requests can be submitted. The following screenshot illustrates how to place Summit requests:
Lemieux Journal Search:
There are two ways to search for Lemieux Journal titles.
From the main search box on the library's home page, select Lemieux Journals and enter a Journal title or keyword in the search box. Click "search", then scan the results list for the title you requested.
OR
From the Advanced Search page, change Material Type to Journal. Enter a Journal title or keyword, and scan the list of results. For example:
EJournal Search:
The EJournal Search allows you to search SU's EJournals by a keyword search or through alpha tabs. Get to EJournal Search from the Advanced Search link on the library's homepage. EJournal Search is located in the upper menu.
