Interested in learning about the innovative and important scholarship of Seattle University’s faculty? Today (November 5, 2020) at 12:30pm on Zoom, Seattle University scholars will introduce their work in a second round of the popular Faculty Research Lightning Talks hosted by the Office of Sponsored Projects

Lightning talks are fun, informal and fast-paced, giving presenters only five minutes to engage an audience unfamiliar with their work. In the space of one hour, you’ll hear about projects undertaken by seven of Seattle University’s Summer Faculty Fellows. Spanning topics from animation to arsenic to all-female theater, the talks promise to make for an entertaining lunch hour.

If you want a better idea of what to expect or are eager for more lightning content, streaming video recordings of the February 2020 faculty lighting talks have been archived by the Library on the ScholarWorks repository website. Can’t make today’s talks? Keep an eye on the ScholarWorks repository - the Library will post recordings of the presentations there as soon as they’re available!
